Rockstar Games Doubles the Multiplayer Limits to 32 Players
VG 24/7 reported that Rockstar has doubled the number of players that can participate in the multiplayer GTA 5 Online from sixteen to thirty two. Some players managed to found out the limit of 32 players from the juggernaut files in Rockstar Games. This rumor was initially reported by Cinemablend. The report also claimed that several new modes have been added including the free roam mode, free for all death matches, team based death matches, races and cops n crooks mode. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of GTA 5 have already been launched. However, there is still no news on the release of the Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions. GTA 5 Online will be avaialble to players on the 1st October.
New Mods Can Control the Characters of Other Players’ Games in GTA 5 Online
Hackers have discovered a new mod in the GTA 5 Online generator. On the 10th August, Kotaku reported that a number of players managed to hack the multiplayer GTA 5 online with new mods. One of the mods enables players to fly a UFO spaceship. Another mod allows the players to travel in the city of Los Santos underwater. There are even more notorious hacks than these. For example, some hackers have figured a way to control the gameplay of other players. Players who are affected by this hack won’t be able to control the playable characters in the game. The hacker has full control ove the actions of the playable characters in other players’ games. With this hack, hacker is able to control other players and make them perform sexual acts, which could cause Rockstar Games to get into lawsuit troubles. Rockstar Games faced a similar problem with GTA: San Andreas in the past. Hackers add a hot coffee mini game into the game, which is not included in the game originally. The hackers manage to found a way to hack into the files of the game to include this prequel. Rockstar Games was forced to come up with a completely new version because they did not know that they could create patches to fix the problem at that time.
